Cardy Road, Greyabbey
This traditional house in Greyabbey uses a variety of forms and materials to break up the overall scale and mass of the house. The design evokes the country cottage feel with dormer windows, slow arches and sloping ceilings.
The plan is splayed and skewed to create a sheltered entrance courtyard and to make the most of the views. The stone 'round tower' creates a double height entrance hall with sweeping curved staircase.
